Dibrugarh University Exam & Admission Notification 2020, Details Inside

Dibrugarh University has today released an important notification regarding conduct of examinations and online admission process in view of COVID-19 pandemic. 

A joint meeting of the Deans and Members of the Task Force on the Academic Affairs was held on 09.07.2020 and subsequent appraisal to the esteemed members of the Academic Council, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dibrugarh University has approved a few important decisions on the various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Academic Programmes of Dibrugarh University and its affiliated Colleges for the academic session 2019-2020:

Intermediate Semester (Even):

Progression of Intermediate Semester (Even)/ Year of all Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes will be carried out as per the UGC Guidelines notified on 29.04.2020 and 06.07.2020 respectively.

Final Semester/ Year Examinations:

The Final Semester/ Year Examinations of all Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programmes will be held in the month of September, 2020 in accordance with the relevant Guidelines of the UGC and the Government of Assam. The examinations shall be held in online/ offline/ blended mode.

Online Admission:

The process of online filling-up of examination forms by the students of all Semesters (Even)/ Years of all academic programmes shall be completed by 30th August, 2020. Online filling-up of examination forms is also mandatory for the students of Intermediate Semesters/ Years, which is required to develop the database for progression to the higher semester/year Classes.

B.Ed. Examination:

Regarding examinations of the B.Ed. Programme, the University shall issue separate notification in due course of time.


New Odd Semester Classes:

The new Odd Semester classes for the Academic Session 2020-2021 (except 1st Semester classes of the Post Graduate Programmes) shall be started from 17.08.2020 through online mode/ alternative learner supports as far as possible.

The University shall comply with the relevant directives/ guidelines from the UGC and/or the
Government of Assam received from time to time.
