Eligibility Criteria of Army Recruitment Rally in Assam


1. Soldier General Duty (All Arms)

Age: Born Between 01 Oct 1999 to 01 Apr 2003
Educational Qualification: Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system Min of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

2. Soldier Technical

Age: Born Between 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Apr 2003
Educational Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.

3. Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 10th Pass

Age: Born Between 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Apr 2003
Educational Qualification:
(i) Class 10th Simple pass.
(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

4. Soldier Tradesman (All Arms) 8th Pass

Age: Born Between 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Apr 2003
Educational Qualification:

(i) Class 8th Simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject.

Documents to bring for Jorhat Army Recruitment Rally


Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with two attested photocopies with them to the rally site :-

 
(a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).

 
(b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts / photo shopped photographs will NOT be accepted.

 
(c) Education Certificates
(i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University.
(ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University.
(iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO / DEO.

 
(d) Birth Certificate and Nativity/Permanent Residence Certificate. Birth Certificate issued by concerned authority and Nativity/Permanent Residence Certificate with photograph issued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

 
(e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph of the candidate issued by Tehsildar / District Magistrate.

 
(f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar / District Magistrate (if religion as SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is not mentioned in the caste certificate).

 
(g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School / College Principal/Headmaster where the candidates last studied.

 
(h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by village sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.

 
(j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by Village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months.

 
(k) Relationship Certificate. Son of Servicemen (SOS) /Son of Ex-Servicemen (SOEX) /Son of Widow (SOW) / Son of War Widow (SOWW) Candidates are required to produce the following documents :-
(i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Records Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and Particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal / stamp is endorsed.
(ii) A declaration to the effect as mentioned in the Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class / Executive / Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit attach as per Appendix ‘A’.
(iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex- Serviceman also to be produced. Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

 
(l) NCC Certificate. NCC A / B /C certificates and Republic Day Parade certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A /B /C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.

 
(m) Sports Certificate.
(i) Sports persons can attend a recruitment rally as a normal candidate. Upon meeting the requisite age, education, physical & medical criteria and clearing the Physical Fitness Test, the candidates are eligible for undertaking the Common Entrance Examination. Sports pers are given bonus marks commensurate to their level of participation in sports competitions is attached as Appendix ‘C’.
(ii) The sports certificates issued by authorised sports federations are valid for two years from the issue date as on first day of the recruitment rally, for which the candidates is being screened.
(iii) List of sports for enrolment is attached as Appendix ‘D’.

 
(n) Affidavit. An affidavit duly signed by candidate on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper as per specimen duly attested by notary will be submitted by candidate. No serial to be left blank in the affidavit. Format attached as per Appendix ‘E’.

 
(o) Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card. Single Bank A/C, PAN Card & Aadhar Card are Mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of Pay & Allowances and other social benefits scheme.

– Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 25 Dec 2020 to 23 Jan 2021. 

– Admit Cards for the rally will be sent to registered e-mail of the candidates from 24 Jan 2021 to 30 Jan 2021.
