Covid-19 – Gauhati University Postponed All Examinations

All Examinations in Gauhati University and in its affiliated Colleges /Institutes are also hereby postponed with immediate effect. The Controller of Examinations, G.U. will issue a detailed notification very shortly regarding the Examinations.

All Hostels will also remain closed from 27th April, 2021 to 11th May, 2021. The Boarders of all hostels are hereby informed to vacate the hostels at the earliest. They are also informed to carry with them their valuable items and documents like laptops, marksheets, certificates etc. The Chief Warden and the Wardens of G.U. Hostels are requested to ensure it.

All faculty members, officers and employees are requested to be available on phone and email so that they can be contacted as and when required for official activities. The essential services in the University Campus will run uninterrupted. Concerned controlling officers are requested to arrange accordingly.
